Question 5: How has your artistic practice or approach developed over the years?
My artistic approach was pretty much centered on print. I did a bit of painting but very little, and engraving quickly became my interest. In my approach to printmaking, I believe that in a way, I wanted to be a painter: I liked colour, I liked working with colour but I wasn’t a painter. I was much more graphic: drawing, the line, and a way of composing with space. I think it was more related to the field of printmaking, of graphics, of engraving. That’s mostly the direction I took.
