Question 5: How has your artistic practice or approach developed over the years?

I think I could simplify that by saying I consider myself a bit like a weather vane in the wind, a wind of social, political and poetical events. In other words, I have always wanted to be free, I don’t like to be a slave to any movement. Of course, we are all influenced by the dynamism of contemporary art, but on the other hand, I never wanted to become part of a formal group. I’m a bit of a rebel in that sense. I think this is also what I tried to bring to my students. I found that every person has his or her own personality and that in expressing it, the person has to externalise in such a way that there is a connection with his or her inner self.
