Question 7: Did you develop a personal technique in the use of these media? If so, how would you describe it?

At the beginning in my painted works, I tried to get a textural quality and an aging effect, I was going to say by trompe l’œil, but by crackling. Over time I began to find these textures in objects, in pieces of scrap metal or in what I found around me. So now I take these textures and integrate them to my canvas, often by using photographic transfers or by projection. So that is more or less what I’ve arrived at in my progression. I discovered that the textures I was trying to create already existed so now I often use what exists around me.
