Question 13: Does your everyday environment stimulate your creativity? In what way?

Transcription

For a period of time, I had a studio at the Aberdeen Cultural Centre in Moncton, that I shared with Jacques Arseneault actually. So I was obviously in an environment, I was surrounded with people who were also artists so it was very stimulating. For the pas few years, I’ve been working in a studio at home, so I’ve largely cut myself off from the artistic community really. It was a choice. Sometimes you go through phases where you want to be more sociable, and other phases where you don’t care to be, as much. Of course if ever I need that contact, I can always get it back by getting closer to the people who work here.
