Question 18: What is your purpose in art-making?

Not to lose my mind before I die. I don’t really have a specific goal. I know for sure that I don’t have any choice: if I don’t produce images I’m not functioning properly, so it is a need. Naturally, an answer like this one can be superficial and I could be the one creating that image of myself. But, if I’m not taking pictures, I find myself sad, I’m melancholic, I don’t give a damn, I’m just not a happy camper. So my goal is to simply try to feel joyful and be happy. Making art makes me joyful, brings me happiness, so I do it. That’s it… that’s the goal.
