Question 3: When did you begin to actively create art?

Well that’s still at the beginning of my life. When I was really young, I was like all children that draw. At school back home, there were no art classes at all. I was just lucky that I was given all the pencils and papers because there was only enough for one person in the class, which was really a pity. But I was lucky because I was able to grab everything and keep them for myself, which is really terrible too. So that’s how I started. Then later, I went to art school at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, and that brought it back to my mind: Oh, this is such a part of my life. I truly reintroduced it into my life, I started to make art more or less more seriously. I decided that I would maybe try to make it a career.
